Like all ZOX, each watch band is individually numbered on both the band and matching collectors card to ensure no two are ever the same. Numbers 0001 - 0100 are stitched in gold and include Gold Cards that can be redeemed for special, limited edition rewards.

One of the most important parts of everything we make is that it's there to uplift and encourage. In creating our new adjustable watchbands, that meant taking a unique approach to designing each piece so that the reminder would always be readable, no matter the size.

Like all ZOX, every watchband we produce is made using elastic we mill from recycled water bottles with our friends at Repreve. Each one takes the equivalent of one 8oz water bottle out of our ecosystem, meaning you're changing the world with both kind words and a brighter tomorrow. This right here is the absolute perfect reminder for all of us here who absolutely love books.
Let me explain.
Lately I have read some phenomenal sci-fi books that kept me turning the page til the very last word - they were excellent!
But here's where it gets interesting: Had friends of mine not recommended these books, I likely never would have picked them up at this little used book store I absolutely love. Many times, the books were worn in, or the art cover gave me this preconceived notion that it likely wouldn't be my style.
But then I'd pick them up, begin to read and just get sucked into the story that was being told.
It turns out, the books were well-worn because they had been read so many times. And the cover art? It made a lot more sense once I began to understand the world in which the author was sharing - in fact I actually appreciated it so much more once I knew where it came from.
People are very similar - everyone has an amazing story to tell. But how many times do we find ourselves assuming what it might be ahead of time by basing our opinions only on outward appearances?
That was my hope for this design - that it would encourage you to look past the cover and focus on the character.
Hidden within this incredibly long-form design are our interpretations of how a book binding would look if you got to know its character a little better. They're so much fun, and truly a must have for any book lover.
